WEBTOON™ TRAVEL NOR’EAST FOR FIRST APPEARANCE AT FAN EXPO BOSTON
Bluechair, Live with Yourself!, and Owl Turd Creator Shen Celebrates Return Home with Spotlight Panel
Los Angeles, CA (August 12, 2019) – WEBTOON™, the world’s leading digital publisher of sequential storytelling, is set to make their first appearance at FAN EXPO Boston this week, beginning Friday, August 16th through Sunday, August 18th at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, announced today. WEBTOON will have a large presence at the annual comic convention including a booth (#201) on the exhibitor floor with a “Green Room” to host Artist Alley attendees, multiple giveaways, signing sessions with WEBTOON creators, and exclusive merchandise. WEBTOON will also host multiple panels over the weekend.
WEBTOON creators attending include ever-popular Washington DC creator Snailords (Freaking Romance), creator of one of the longest running series on the platform and finalist from the 2016 Superhero Comics Contest Uru-chan (unOrdinary), Boston native and popular strip comic creator Shen (Bluechair, Live with Yourself!), traveling in from Spain for her first comic con, Miriam Bonastre Tur (Hooky), San Diego University student and creator Instantmiso (Siren’s Lament), fan-favorite Quimchee (I Love Yoo), and WEBTOON’s own KennyComics.
