Since most of us are still stuck in the house trying to pass the time during quarantine, there are a lot of moments where we are bored stupid and have zero motivation to do anything other than sit on our phones.
Isolation doesn’t have to be a super boring time, in fact, isolation can be the perfect time to learn a new skill, create something new, or even simply spruce up your living space and give it a good old clear out.
Today we are going to take a little look at some of the ways to spend your time during quarantine this year.
If you have a PlayStation you may already know that PlayStation has been giving away the Uncharted Series as well as other games on their store for people to play during lockdown. This means you have a whole world of puzzles and adventure to enjoy during this time. As well as video games, you could try casino games like fishin frenzy slot or even mobile games such as Mario Kart with your friends.
Take a digital tour
Whether you want to see some cute animals or learn about the ancient Egyptians, you should be able to find some great virtual tours online right now as curators and zookeepers are trying to provide some entertainment for all of us stuck at home. Join a Facebook live zoo or museum tour and you’ll be able to spend an hour or two immersed in another place.
Netflix and Zoom
Netflix and chill is a thing of the past right now, and instead if you want to enjoy some quality tv with your friends you will have to dial in through zoom. Pick a film that you all want to watch and start a zoom call this week to feel as if you are watching a film at the cinema with your friends.
Cleaning is a job that you either love or hate, but either way, most of us struggle to stay on top of deep cleaning while we live our regular hectic lives. That’s why being in isolation provides the perfect opportunity for you to get cleaning and take care of all of those niggling jobs you have otherwise been putting off.
If you are lucky enough to have a garden during this isolation period, now is a perfect time to get outside and do some gardening work. Even if you are new to gardening and have no idea what you are doing, you’ll have plenty of time and opportunity to learn about plants and flowers and make your garden your own. You can plant some vegetables and fruits, create a lovely flower display, or even dig a pond to encourage frogs and other wildlife to make your garden their home. Have fun and be creative!
Read, or write
Now that you have time on your hands it is the ideal chance to read those books that have been gathering dust on the shelf, or if you are creative you could even try your hand at writing your own story!
