Where am I meow? And HAIKU: SEASONS OF THE KITTY by Neko Atsume
Review by Trisha Quezada
It’s been a rough couple of weeks at my day job. So when an unexpected package showed up at my door, I tossed it in my laptop bag and ran off to work. When I got a minute to open it during lunch, I found the most adorable set of books I’ve ever seen.
Haiku: Seasons of the Kitty is a little book of Haiku poems about and illustrated with adorable little cats. They’re light and fun and perfect for those times you just need a breather from anything serious.
Where Am I Meow? Takes the cuteness to the next level. It’s full of puzzles where you have to find a specific cat (similar to Waldo, but ADORABLE). I’m suspicious of the answer key on some of these but my coworkers and I took turns over the course of a week flipping through and looking for the answers whenever we needed a break. I have a feeling this one is going to live near our team coffee maker for a while. Kittens and coffee breaks sounds like a good long term plan.
