Escaping Charlie at the Sacred Lies Activation at SDCC

This year at San Diego Comic Con one of the surprise hits outside the convention center was the activation for Facebook’s upcoming show Sacred Lies. A 20 minute escape room that introduced challengers to the world and story of Sacred Lies. Knowing nothing else about the show, the activation did a great job of getting people intrested in what this show would be about, myself included.
Here are the details of the show:
Facebook Watch’s new drama series, Sacred Lies, from Executive Producer Raelle Tucker (True Blood, The Returned, Jessica Jones) & produced by Blumhouse Television, will premiere tomorrow, Friday, July 27th at 9PM ET/6PM PT.
Sacred Lies is a 10-episode, drama series based on the classic Grimm Brothers tale The Handless Maiden and Stephanie Oakes’ novel The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly. The series is about a handless teen who escapes from a cult and finds herself in juvenile detention, suspected of knowing who killed her cult leader.
Cast includes Elena Kampouris (My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, Before I Fall, Men, Women & Children) as Minnow Bly, Kevin Carroll (Being John Malkovich, The Object of My Affection) as Dr. Wilson, Kiana Madeira (Taken, Dark Matter) asAngel, Ryan Robbins (iRobot, Sanctuary) as Samuel Bly and Toby Huss (King of the Hill, Halt and Catch Fire) as The Prophet
