Aussies Audiofly into US market at Winter NAMM
Audiofly launches in US market with new IEM range at Winter NAMM 2019.
Perth, Australia – January 24, 2018 – Australian headphone brand Audiofly has today announced plans to re-enter the US market with the launch of its new Pro range of MK2 In-Ear Monitors (IEM), that will be showcased for the first time at the upcoming Winter NAMM Trade Show.
Held at the Anaheim Convention Centre from January 24-27, the Winter NAMM Show (named for National Association of Music Merchants) will connect the world’s leading music and sound brands and industry professionals from across the world, with more than 150,000 attendees expected across the four-day event.
The Audiofly Pro IEM range has been winning over musicians, music industry professionals and audio enthusiasts worldwide since 2014. At Winter NAMM, Audiofly will be launching its highly anticipated MK2 IEM range and custom IEM program, which bring with them its signature sound stage already recognised and celebrated in Australia and other regions.
Embracing the legacy set by the existing range, the five new products in the MK2 range (AF120 MK2, AF140 MK2, AF160 MK2, AF180 MK2 and AF1120 MK2) feature the signature soundstage, impressive clarity and superb ergonomics of the MK 1, but sees upgraded features, updated designs, new colourways and refreshed packaging.
Retaining the award-winning sound signature across most of the new range, the AF120 MK2, AF180 MK2 and AF1120 MK2 have undergone some internal structural improvements to allow for better sound quality. The AF140 MK2 has also undertaken major internal restructuring to improve its sound quality and frequency response for a better audio experience.
In addition, the AF120 MK2 and AF140 MK2 now incorporate removable cables, while the metal moulding bar has been removed to provide full strain relief like the higher-end models. To improve usability, the MK2 IEMs now feature a universal MMCX connectors, making them compatible with third party cables.
